Opleiding: SAP BW Getting Professional Data Acquisition

Leerdoel

This training will focus on the way data is extracted from source systems and how information is staged or loaded into SAP BW. Different staging scenarios will be discussed. You will learn how to use different methods for loading delta information.


You will also learn how to create a generic data extraction. It is also possible to extract data from SAP BW in order to send this to other systems. You will learn how to setup this so-called Open Hub Service with the use of InfoSpokes.

After attending this training module, the participant will have the basic knowledge and skills to customize the Data Acquisition processes in the SAP Business Warehouse.

 

Doelgroep

This training module is intended for solution consultants. The objective is to learn how to model the the Data Acquisition processes by customizing it to specific business needs. This intensive, individual and flexible training module focuses not only on knowledge but also strongly on skills.

  • Delta Management (delta types, delta methods)

  • Process Chains

 

This training module is available in version 7.0 in English.

The participant should have attended the following training modules:

  • SAP BW Getting Acquainted Business Warehousing
  • SAP BW Getting Professional Enterprise Data Warehousing


or otherwise be familiar with the topics covered by these trainings.
