Leerdoel

This training will provide you with knowledge and expertise on the Enterprise Reporting tools in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0), compared to the previous versions of BW3.x.
SAP Netweaver 2004s BI (BW7.0) will provide a foundation for reporting and analytics in business applications, extend the reach towards masses of end-users, integrate planning into user interfaces and services and push forward its role as strategic data warehouse platform.

Objectives
After attending this training module, the participant will have the basic knowledge and skills to use the new and enhanced Enterprise Reporting tools in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0), compared to the previous version BW3.x.
The new functionality in BW7.0 regarding Enterprise Data Warehousing and Integrated Planning is NOT part of this delta training. This functionality is covered in separate delta BW7.0 training modules:

Target audience
This training module is intended for solution consultants. The objective is to learn how to model the new and enhanced Enterprise Reporting tools in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0) by customizing it to specific business needs. This intensive, individual and flexible training module focuses not only on knowledge but also strongly on skills.

• BEx Query Designer;
• BEx Web Analyzer;
• BEx Report Designer;
• BEx Web Application Designer;
• BEx Analyzer;
• BEx Information Broadcaster;
• New concept for reporting authorizations;
• New functions for document integration;
• Introduction to the Visual Composer.

The training module is available in version 7.0 in English.

Prerequisites
The participant should have attended the training modules:

• SAP Getting Acquainted Business Information Warehouse (in version 3.x)
• SAP Module Training Getting Professional Reporting and Analysis (in version 3.x)

Or otherwise be familiar with the Reporting tools of SAP BW version 3.x.
