Leerdoel

Individuals who complete the Cambridge Financial English blended learning course will gain confidence in their English language skills for use in a wide-range of accounting and financial contexts.

After completing the course, the employees can validate their skills and ability by sitting the Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (Cambridge ICFE) exam – a financial English language qualification developed in partnership with Cambridge ESOL and ACCA.

Doelgroep

  • individuals thinking of pursuing a career in accountancy and finance or for busy professionals who have already established themselves in their career. 
• • individuals working internationally or with international clients and colleagues.
  • Finance and accountancy students whose first language is not English.
  • English language students wanting to improve their ability to use financial English.

Toelatingseisen

Cambridge Financial English is targeted at students with a B1/B2 level of English on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Students attending the course need at least a B1 starting level in order to complete the course successfully.
All participants have to take an intake test: multiple choice questions, writing task and interview conducted by e-mail and phone (€ 20).
