The programme focuses on the teaching of concepts, theories and principles in support of creative processes and offers a unique opportunity to extend creative, conceptual and intellectual skills, knowledge and attitudes.
Doelgroep
The course is designed to accommodate the needs of choreographers working in amateur, educational and professional fields; self-employed, freelance, or as employees of a professional company, academy, agency, institution or university. The programme focuses on
the teaching of concepts, theories and principles in support of creative processes and offers a unique opportunity to extend creative, conceptual and intellectual skills, knowledge and attitudes.
Programma
The educational content is provided in 6 blocks of 2 weeks each, timetabled in Tilburg. Students will engage in choreographic workshops, lectures, seminars and debates to challenge, provoke and question both personal and shared positions. After each block, students return to their professional contexts to test and apply the newly-gained knowledge through independent study and distance learning.
Toelatingseisen
Normal entry qualifications include a good honours degree/bachelor’s degree in Dance, and/or evidence of other relevant qualifications and experience. Candidates will be required to attend for interview/audition. A video-recording or DVD in support of the application is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Dance or Choreography and/or proof of other relevant qualifications and experience; sufficient professional choreographic experience;
sufficient command of the English language.
