Our high admissions standards translate into an exceptional peer environment for you and are consistent with the specifications of our accrediting body, the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). To be eligible for the International Executive MBA (IMM) programme, we require the following for admittance to our programme.
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree;
- A minimum of five years work experience in positions of increasing professional responsibility;
- A current position of significant responsibility;
- Two letters of recommendation;
- GMAT score if submitted to enhance application materials.
Application Requirements for the EMBA (IMM) Programme
- A completed EMBA (IMM) application form and $ 55 application fee. You will be prompted for the fee before you submit the online application via our partner school, Purdue University's Krannert School of Management https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=purdue-som.
- Two letters of recommendation, done through the above application system; one of the letters should be from the candidate's direct supervisor.
- A TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score report, or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) (either is acceptable) for persons whose native language is not English.
- TOEFL scores must be no older than two years at the time the application credentials are reviewed by the Purdue University Graduate School. Scores must be documented by an official report from Educational Testing Service (ETS) and sent to Tilburg University, institution code 9860. For more TOEFL information, visit the TOEFL website (www.toefl.com).
- The total TOEFL score required is 77. In addition, minimum scores must be met in each area tested:
writing = 18;
speaking = 18;
listening = 14;
and reading =19.
- If you elect to take the IELTS rather than the TOEFL, the score achieved must equal 6.5; there are no minimum test area scores required.
- International applicants who are U.S. citizens, or who hold a green card, are exempt from the TOEFL or IELTS
- Two official transcripts from each higher institution attended. Non-U.S. citizens must provide certified transcripts showing "grades earned" both in the original language and in English. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have been certified by the issuing institution. Transcripts must indicate the date of graduation and the degree conferred; if they do not, an official or certified diploma in the original language and a certified English translation of that diploma are required.
- A GMAT score is required. A GRE score can also be considered for those who have already taken that test and can provide an official score report.
However, there are some exceptions. Substantial work experience and/or prior graduate education may allow the GMAT to be waived. Nonetheless, the test is strongly recommended for programme applicants, and a good score on the test will enhance any applicant's chances for admission. The test may be required of applicants whose other credentials need strengthening. These decisions will be made by the programme's admissions office on a case-by-case basis. In addition, a personal interview may be required of certain applicants, again where there are issues related to the strength of other credentials. Applicants who have completed a post-graduate degree from an accredited university generally will be exempt from the GMAT requirements. Exemption decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

At TiasNimbas, we understand how precious your time is. Your MBA programme must yield maximum career impact, with minimum career and lifestyle disruption.
A Truly International Executive MBA with a Global Perspective
The International Executive MBA (IMM) is a global, high-impact alternative to the traditional EMBA, specifically formulated for working executives seeking a masters degree in management.
With learning concentrated into five residential sessions held over 18 months and on three continents, learning is both more efficient and more intensive. Leaving you more time to dedicate to your career - and to translating new insights and skills, into improved professional performance.
One of the Most International EMBA Programmes in the World
Global classmates, residencies, teaching faculty, case studies. The IMM has been consistently ranked in the European top 20 for the last years, and is leading in the following domains: career progress, international student rank, international course experience, and faculty with doctorates.
Along with TiasNimbas, the EMBA (IMM) is the collaborative effort of Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, United States; CEU Business School of Central European University, Hungary; and GISMA Business School, Germany.
Exceptional Faculty and Peers
Faculty members are professional academics with vast experience in business or consulting; participants are high-achieving executives from different world regions, industries, and functions. And you learn from both.
A Unique Format that Works with Your Schedule
With instructional learning concentrated into global residential sessions instead of bi-weekly classes, the EMBA (IMM) fits a busy lifestyle better than any other part-time MBA programme.
A Different Approach to Learning
In TiasNimbas's project-based approach, academic knowledge provides the basis - your ability to implement this knowledge in your workplace, the focus.
An American and a European MBA
The EMBA (IMM) is your opportunity to move your career to that next level - a level that could span functions, even borders. And by graduating with an American and a European MBA, you couldn't be better prepared.
