The Euro*MBA is a truly European programme for internationally oriented managers, designed and realised by a consortium of six European universities/business schools of outstanding calibre. The Euro*MBA fits the needs of the current executive to combine theoretical and practical training and work, allowing them to study from home, yet to work with executives from around the world. Flexibility, high quality theoretical and practical training, innovative work processes and European network are the keywords of the Euro*MBA programme.

The Euro*MBA programme offers e-learning courses in combination with six residential weeks in five different countries in Europe. These strengths are combined with a strong focus on the European context of Business and management, an international teaching and management staff, as well as participants from at least 25 different countries.

Programme details
The Euro*MBA programme takes two years to complete. The programme is built on four components: introduction programme (four days), distance learning courses (10), residential weeks all over Europe (6), a Master Thesis.
Introduction programme
The four days introduction programme takes place one week before the start of the first course. The programme provides the participants with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to perform well in the Euro*MBA programme:

- information on the programme
Part of the introduction programme is dedicated to get to know the senior students in the programme and start the group work for the next distance learning course (kick off session).

Residential Weeks
The six residential weeks take place in the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Spain and France. Each week is designed around a central theme:
- Corporate Social Responsibility by Audencia (Nantes/France)
- Organisational Learning and Transformational Change by UMBS (Netherlands)
- Managing Emerging Markets by Kozminski University (Poland)
- Entrepreneurship by IAE-Aix-en-Provence (France)
- Managing Strategic Innovation by HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management (Germany)
- Business Life Cycle by EADA (Spain)
The residential week programmes cover:
- Management skills, such as decision taking, influencing styles, intercultural communication, motivation.
- Doing business in a specific part of the world, such as Latin America, BRIC, NAFTA.
- Specific European regions, such as Central Europe, Southern Europe.
- Company visits in several industrial and services sectors, such as automotive, micro-electronics, transport, shipbuilding, consumer goods.
- Issues such as strategy, international finance, change management, lobby, entrepreneurship....
- Participants work together on projects in multicultural groups with international experts.
Master thesis and master thesis work shops
During the Residential Weeks participants attend two Master Thesis Workshops in order to be able to write a master thesis. The Master Thesis generally presents the results of theoretical or empirical research or the development and application of theoretical models to a business case situation.
Alumni Association and Event
Every 18 months the Euro*MBA consortium organises together with the Euro*MBA Alumni Association an international alumni event of three days during a regular Residential Week somewhere in Europe: alumni providing workshops to students, working with top lecturers on actual issues and enjoying to meet again.
The Alumni Association is a truly international organisation representing alumni of various nationalities, mainly across Europe, working in many different industries. More than 40 % of the alumni are expatriates. It's mission: to facilitate and stimulate connections within the Euro*MBA environment that enrich the personal and professional lives of our members.
Virtual Collaboration
The use of information and communication technology is a core aspect of the programme. The tutoring, discussion and virtual teamwork occur in the Euro*MBA educational platform: Lotus Notes.
Programme Requirements
The admission requirements guarantee a sufficient background and management experience of the participants:
- 5 Year professional (management) experience.
- A first higher education degree (e.g. bachelor degree) or equivalent.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (TOEFL 250 may be requested).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- A letter of motivation
Euro*MBA Diploma
The students who complete the programme successfully will receive the Euro*MBA Diploma (Master's in Business Administration) signed by the six consortium partners, AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS/efmd accredited.
