This two day programme will help you develop the skills you need to become a successful manager and leader of people. The many skills you must master include building trust, managing conflict and using positive emotions for better and faster decision making; plus motivating, coaching, and measuring the work of others.
Furthermore, you are expected to develop your own personal, authentic leadership style and help people to cope with change. By looking at the importance of good communication skills and developing your ability to realise, mobilise and nurture the many talents of individuals and teams the programme will help you become an outstanding leader and a role model for others.
Participants in 'Essentials of Leadership' will:
- Understand and develop the critical skills, time applications and work values essential for success in their leadership role
- Build the foundations for creating a broad and diverse network and growing their ‘social’ capital
- Develop the ability to mobilise and nurture the many talents of individuals and teams.

- Creating high performing teams
Afternoon:
- Gaining and using influence and power
- Developing your authentic leadership
- Managing your time and your life
- Peer-coaching on individual developing plan.
