Opleiding: Executive Master of Information Management
Leerdoel
Upon completion of the Master in Information Management programme, participants gain:
- Knowledge about information systems and the alignment between IT and business in the design and management of organizations in the profit as well as the ‘not for profit’ sector
- Expertise in the analysis of management models, organisational structures, business processes, management processes and communication structures in their mutual relationships
- Skills to play a management role or advisory role in the design, deployment and operation of information systems and information architecture
- Skill to manage IT-enabled process innovations
- Participants typically get greater information management responsibilities after completing the programme.
Doelgroep
The programme MIM is designed for people who will be working in a position at the interface between information systems (automation) and business functions, such as: business analyst, consultant, project leader, account manager, systems developer or information manager.
Some may eventually become Chief Information Officers (CIO).
Program participants typically have obtained a university degree or the Dutch HBO-training, have gained several years of work experience, and are seeking advanced education as a basis for further career development.
As English is increasingly becoming the language of business communication, and as the background literature of the courses is also mainly in English, the MIM programme will be taught in this language.
